Round 2 Acceptance Steps
- Log into the DU PG CSAS student dashboard immediately.
- Check the ‘Allocation Status’ to see your assigned college and course.
- Click the ‘Accept Allocation’ button before the portal deadline expires.
- Monitor your dashboard daily while the college verifies your uploaded documents.
- Pay the institutional admission fee online as soon as the payment link activates.

If DU PG CSAS Round 2 shows an allotment on your dashboard, your first job is to read the portal instructions carefully. Check the allotted programme and college, acceptance step, document verification status and any payment action shown by the University of Delhi portal before the stated deadline.
The Rule of Mandatory Acceptance
The CSAS system is unforgiving regarding deadlines. If you see an allotted seat on your dashboard but fail to click the ‘Accept’ button within the stipulated timeframe, the university assumes you are no longer interested.
This inaction results in the a problem in the admission process of the offered seat. Furthermore, you will be permanently locked out of all subsequent regular CSAS PG allocation rounds. Always accept the seat, even if you intend to seek an upgrade later.
College-Level Document Scrutiny
After you accept the seat, the ball moves to the allotted college. The college administration will review the graduation mark sheets, CUET PG score mapping, and category certificates you uploaded during initial registration.
If the college finds an issue—such as an outdated OBC-NCL certificate or a blurred mark sheet—they will raise a ‘Query’ on your CSAS dashboard. You must reply to this query by uploading the correct document within the very narrow query-response window.
Securing the Seat with Fee Payment
Once the college principal approves your documents, your dashboard status will change to ‘Verified’. A payment link for the admission fee will then be generated.
Your admission is only confirmed after this fee transaction is successful. Do not wait until the last hour to pay, as bank server failures during high traffic can cause transactions to stall, jeopardizing your seat.
Upgrading After Round 2
If you are admitted to a lower preference and wish to aim for a higher preference, you can choose the ‘Upgrade’ option only after paying the fee and securing your current seat.
If you are allotted an upgraded seat in the next round, your Round 2 seat is automatically affected and the fee is adjusted. You cannot return to your previously allotted college.
